Alvin Kamara Tests Positive for Covid-19; Status vs Panthers Uncertain

The Saints may be without their best player Sunday when they travel to Charlotte in hopes of securing a 1st-round bye. The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Saturday that do-it-all running back Alvin Kamara tested positive for Covid-19 and his status for Sunday’s game is uncertain as they wait on results from a second test.

#Saints star RB Alvin Kamara is awaiting results of another COVID-19 test as part of the normal process after an initial positive test, per source. If confirmed, Kamara would be out for Sunday’s game against the #Panthers — and most likely a possible wild-card playoff game, too.
