The Tar Heels will be without their both of their top running backs for their January 2nd Orange Bowl matchup against Texas A&M. In an Instagram post Sunday, Javonte Williams announced he will forego the season-ending game and prepare for the NFL draft.
During his junior campaign, Williams rushed for 1,140 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. He also had 25 receptions for 305 yards and 3 touchdowns.
