The Hornets announced today that center Cody Zeller had surgery to repair a broken fourth metacarpal on his left hand. The surgery was performed by Dr Michelle Carlson of the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Zeller suffered the injury in the 4th quarter of Charlotte’s season opening loss to the Cavaliers Wednesday night. He will be out at least four weeks after which time his status will be reevaluated.
