By the looks of things, NC State will finally end its almost two-week layover as the program announced an additional contest with St.Louis Thursday evening at St.Louis. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 pm EST. Broadcasting details are still pending.
If all goes well, this will be the Wolfpack’s first contest since defeating UMass Lowell 90-59 on December 3, improving to 3-0. Marque matchups with UConn, Michigan, and their first ACC contest with Lousiville were all put on hold due to Covid-19 concerns, which have caused scheduling shuffling throughout the country.
Saint Louis enters the contest also with an unblemished record at 4-0 while receiving votes in this week’s polls.
NC State is scheduled to host nearby Campbell Saturday afternoon at 4 pm in their first contest inside PNC Arena.
