Going into this season we all knew this could, and would happen. Wednesday’s matchup between the Wolfpack and Wolverines in the annual ACC-Big10 Challenge has been postponed due to Covid-19 concerns reported by multiple outlets.
Matt Norlander of CBS Sports tweeted the news just after 2 pm that the game is off for Wednesday. This would be NC State’s second consecutive game cancellation after Saturday’s non-conference tilt with UConn was cancelled after a positive test result was reported late Friday evening.
According to the Wolfpack the schools will work together to see if a game can be arranged on an alternative date. NC State has made no additional decisions to its short-term upcoming schedule and will continue to evaluate.
