Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski announced the Hornets agreed to a 4-year, $120 million deal with Gordon Hayward.
Earlier this week, the former Boston Celtic turned down a $34.1 million player option for the 2020-21 season in favor of free agency.
Last season, Hayward averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game on 50% shooting from the floor and 38.3% shooting from three.
