Tuesday, the Panthers announced safety Juston Burris has be designated to return from reserved/injured list. Burris was sidelined the last three weeks after injuring his ribs during Carolina’s week six loss to the Bears. The team has 21 days to activate him to the 53-man roster.
The Panthers also made additional practice squad move.
Carolina reactivated running back Reggie Bonnafon to the practice squad from the practice squad/injured list. He suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 4. The team also re-signed defensive tackle Woodrow Hamilton to the practice squad. He was waived from the 53-man roster last week.
Carolina released kicker Taylor Bertolet and defensive tackle Mike Panasiuk from the practice squad.
