Others are finding out what Carolina fans already know…Jeremy Chinn is a beast. The NFL announced Friday that the Panthers safety has been named rookie of the month.
In October, Chinn led all rookies with 30 tackles. He also had one interception and four pass break-ups. He leads all rookies with 57 tackles – the second highest for a Carolina rookie through the first seven games (Luke Kuechly is first with 62).
He joins Kuechly, Julius Peppers and Brian Burns as the only other Panthers to earn Defensive Rookie of the Month honors.
