The Panthers announced Wednesday that kicker Joey Slye and offensive lineman Trent Scott have been placed on the reserve/Covid-19 list. That makes four players in the last week (Tyler Larson was added last Friday and Michael Schofield was added Monday).
Designation to the list doesn’t always mean you’ve tested positive. Those who have had close contact with confirmed cases are also added as a precaution.
Players and staff worked from home Monday and Tuesday out of an abundance of caution. The team practiced Wednesday, but are still following intense protocol – including requiring players to wear masks and gloves in practice.
