Michael Palardy Out for Season with ACL Injury; Greg Little on PUP List

When the Panthers announced the signing of former South Carolina record setting punter Joseph Charlton last week, there were questions about the status of veteran Mike Palardy. Now we know why the move was made.

On the first day of training camp Carolina placed Palardy on the reserve/non-football injury list, effectively ending his season. The move was after the 5-year veteran suffered an ACL tear in the offseason.

The Panthers have also placed 2nd-year offensive lineman Greg Little on the active/physically unable to perform list. He’ll remain on the list until he passes his physical, which the team doesn’t anticipate will be long-term. Little played in four games last season, starting three.

Undrafted rookie offensive lineman Branden Bowen will begin camp on the active/reserve list with a non-football illness, and undrafted rookie linebacker Jordan Mack has opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
