Former Carolina Panthers players Thomas Davis and Tedd Ginn Jr have joined forces to purchase the Charlotte Thunder, an AAL arena football team. Davis announced the new venture via Instagram.
The Thunder, formerly called the Carolina Energy, have been playing at Bojangles Coliseum since 2018. The stated mission of the Thunder is to win the AAL Championship, develop two players that are promoted to the next level of professional football and teach players skill sets that are transferable to the business market.
