Matt Rhule: I’m Unbelievably Excited to Get the Chance to Work with Cam (Video)

Ahead of Carolina Panthers Head Coach Matt Rhule’s press conference at the NFL combine, reports swirled that the franchise would be sticking with Cam Newton as their quarterback. When asked about QB1’s status with the team next season Rhule said he was excited about getting to work with him, but stopped short of saying he would be the starter.

A clear focus of the franchise is to make sure Cam Newton is healthy, but this reaffirms what Newton said during the Super Bowl that he would “absolutely” return to Carolina.
