Saturday, fourth year junior CJ Riley injured his left knee during the first quarter of the Wolfpack’s win over ECU. This morning, the school announced he would miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. This isn’t the first time the Florida native had to recover from this injury. He tore his right ACL in 2016.

During his weekly press conference, head coach Dave Doeren said Riley was upbeat and would be back.

“He’ll have surgery and he’ll be back. He has been through this before on his other knee. He is very upbeat.”

CJ took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support and prayers, vowing his story is far from over.

Riley had 28 receptions for 315 yards and 2 touchdowns last year.
