UNC’s Coby White has emerged as one of the most impressive players in the ACC. His three 30-point games is a new Carolina freshman record. After setting a new career high (34) against Syracuse Monday night, White said he didn’t expect his freshman campaign to be this big, but that the hard work he’s put in is “truly paying off”.
With the Tar Heels now thrust into the national spotlight with their huge win over Duke and 5th ranking, White’s star will only continue to shine brighter. But the Wilson, North Carolina native says he hasn’t thought about the next level, his only focus is winning a championship.
