According to reports, wide receiver Antonio Brown wants out of Pittsburgh.
Antonio Brown has requested a trade. Im told it was not a demand but he has asked to be dealt. Very unlikely Rooney would capitulate. Brown has issues with Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger. Feels like the coach is too aligned with the QB.

Brown, who is widely considered one of the best receivers in the NFL, often works out with Panthers quarterback Cam Newton during the offseason and the two have a well-documented mutual respect for each other.
With the rift in Steeler Town, one can’t help but wonder what are the chances Carolina would trade for AB? I asked Panthers Nation what they thought about the possibility and here’s what they had to say:
According to reports Antonio Brown has asked the Steelers to trade him. Given his relationship with Cam, would Panthers fans like to see him Carolina Blue?

Seems like the panthers have bigger issues than trading for an expensive WR. Unless you get rid of several current contracts via antrade They need OL and DL upgraded.

Survey says… Yes.
(Will it happen… Cap space says no.)

Absolutely, but I don’t see how we could afford him

Pass we need all the cap space to build the offense and defensive line.

Samuel, DJ, Thomas, CMC…no trades for that much money. Need OL help more. QB can’t throw it when they are on the ground. The line this year almost put 3 QBs on IR!

Have to make a lot of roster moves to clear that kind of cap room. If it’s anybody but AB, I’d say no because we need line help so much, but he’s far and away the best WR in football. Cutting Torrey Smith alone would clear about $5m for what it’s worth.

Panthers cant afford that contract but if Tepper want to… Hey. AB, Curtis and DJ lets go
— Jay Anderson (@jayserius) January 1, 2019
Not sure if he's the right fit for our locker room (personality wise), but talent is undeniable! I'm sure Tepper might have some thoughts having come from there!

Yes and no. He’s a really incredible talent. But we have young guns that will be better.
He’s also a primadonna. We’re good at WR.

Let’s make sure Cam gets healthy again first. Won’t matter if Cam can’t throw 15 yds past the LOS

As long as we don’t give up a potential future star for maybe a couple more good years out of Brown. Those potential stars include Moore, Samuel, Jackson, and CMC (obviously).
— Cam Mitchell (@CamTweetsThings) January 1, 2019
Heck yes! What current WR on the roster scares teams!? NONE! Go get AB!
— Mr. CEO (@stewdeisel) January 1, 2019
The defensive and offensive lines need fixing first. You people do realize our O line got 2 QB's on IR and we never could get pressure rushing the down 4 and people want to talk about a damn receiver!

Mixed reviews on the possibility of Carolina going after Antonio Brown. Either way, it would definitely be a tough feat given Brown’s contract.
