Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant to Visit UNC this Weekend

Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant is looking for a new team after requesting a transfer following his benching in favor of true freshman Trevor Lawrence.  UNC has been looking for answers at that same position as Nathan Elliott and Chazz Surratt have both struggled leading the Tar Heel offense.

So when news broke that Bryant was on the market, Larry Fedora and company wasted no time getting in touch with quarterbavk who lead Clemson to the national semifinals just last season.

According to a report by Inside Carolina, Kelly is scheduled to visit Chapel Hill this weekend for their game against Virginia Tech.

As a starter last season, Bryant went 16-2, completed 67% of his passes and threw for 13 touchdowns.   He also rushed for over 660 yards and scored 11 touchdowns on the ground.
