Christian Miller is a high school football player from Hilton Head. Tuesday morning he sent Carolina Blitz the following tweet.
I would like to personally thank @CameronNewton and the @CamNewton7v7 Foundation for the $200, 3.5 GPA CN17V7 Team Alumni Giveaway. Cam does so much for kids that goes unnoticed. ???????? #Grateful #StudentAthlete pic.twitter.com/jUPbTkn93d

Christian, who is the only player from South Carolina currently on Newton’s flag football team, didn’t have an agenda. He wasn’t interested in getting his name out there. He didn’t care about followers. Christian just wanted to share how Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has impacted him.
About a week ago, Cam, via his foundation’s 7 on 7 flag football Instagram page, invited all tournament alumni with a 3.5 cumulative GPA this semester to send him proof of their academic success and in return he would give them $200.
Christian made sure to tell Carolina Blitz how much he has enjoyed his CNF All Star experience.
“Everything is free. We eat good. Sleep good. Ride good. Play good and have a lot of fun,”
When I asked him how he spent the $200, which he received through the Cash App, he told me:
“Very wisely. I’m taking the SAT this weekend. I will use some of it to register for the ACT. I want to be an example of giving too. I will donate $20 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Disaster Relief.”
This is how you make a generational impact on your community. Kudos to Cam, Christian and all his CNF Alumni who are excelling on and off the field. Keep Blitzin.
