There’s a new sheriff in town. A sheriff with quick wit. One who sings, drinks beer with fans at tailgates and one who just won the hearts of Panthers’ faithful everywhere with one simple yet impactful change.
Today, with 2:46 second hype video, Carolina announced that the NFL shield will no longer be on display midfield when the Panthers take on the Cowboys in their first home opener since 2013. Instead, team’s logo will be prominently displayed for all to see.
To say Panthers fans reacted favorably to the news would be an understatement…
Sometimes, there’s not enough room to say thank you. So, this: pic.twitter.com/vMG3xS1S1Q

Ok…this is really awesome. I mean the logo at midfield is dope, but this video was beautifully made. pic.twitter.com/yqmBSyS3B6
