Jerry Richardson was never shy about being a league-first guy and that dedication was notoriously reflected midfield at Bank of American stadium where the NFL shield was prominently displayed.
Now that Richardson is out and David Tepper is in fans and players have been calling for a change. At yesterday’s Fan Fest a video featuring Cam Newton, Thomas Davis and Christian McCaffrey called on the Panthers’ new owner to replace the shield with the Panthers’ logo and encouraged fans to help with their mission by posting their own videos and tagging #PanthersLogoChallenge.
Want the #Panthers logo midfield? So does Cam Newton, Thomas Davis and CMC.
To convince David Tepper, we need to see the logo EVERYWHERE!

Tepper was recently spotted checking out the field and the Panthers twitter page hinted that he may discussing what will be placed there.
Wonder what Tepper could be talking about at midfield ???? pic.twitter.com/JQdGbwScy8

I’m pretty sure Tepper is planning on making fans and players happy.
