Basketball fans in the Queen City got a special treat July 17th – 21st as the Charlotte Convention Center hosted the 2018 USBA Nationals. 403 youth basketball teams from across the country, representing grades 2nd to 12th, travelled to North Carolina to compete for national champion honors.
Current and former basketball stars including Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Miles Bridges and Brendan Haywood were all spotted watching games.
Lebron James Jr’s 7th grade North Coast Blue Chips defeated the Chris Paul sponsored CP3 team in an overtime thriller that was the talk of the tournament.
