The Carolina Panthers have reinstated interim GM Marty Hurney after an NFL investigation showed that there was no evidence of domestic abuse as alleged by his ex-wife.

Prior to these allegations, Hurney was widely considered the favorite to land a permanent role as GM – a position he held previously from 2002-2012.
