BROOKLYN, NY – No one was happier than Harry Giles after Duke’s record setting ACC Tournament Championship win. The freshman forward, who entered college as the #1 prospect but has been battling injuries, played his best basketball of the season and was a large part of the Blue Devils’ historic win.
After the game, all-smiles Giles, talked teaming up with his “son” Jayson Tatum and what the Blue Devils need to do to make sure they carry the momentum of this win into the NCAA tournament.
If Duke is going to make a run for the Final Four, Giles will be an integral part. With him playing even close to his potential to complement Tatum and Kennard, the Blue Devils are nearly unstoppable.
Oh, and remember those overrated chants he heard during his final regular season game against UNC. Giles has a message for them too.
