The Panthers have elected not to exercise their option on receivers Philly Brown and LaRon Byrd.
Now that he’s agreed to terms with Carolina, Charles Johnson says the next order of business is to get free agent Julius Peppers to come home.
"If they can bring Julius (Peppers) back, I'm all aboard." Charles Johnson says he's going to start "recruiting" him.

Not sure how that’s going to work out, but there’s still a lot of work to do this offseason for Gettleman and company if Carolina looks to return to the post season. ย The offensive line needs work, Cam Newton needs a reliable slot receiver and the defense needs another pass rusher. ย But its still early and these recent signings are at least a start.
