Grayson Allen is Up to His Dirty Antics Again…Or Is He? (Video)

The college basketball world is up in arms because Duke basketball star Grayson Allen is up to his dirty antics again even after serving a one game suspension for repeatedly tripping players…or is he?

During the Blue Devils loss Tuesday night to Florida State, Allen allegedly maliciously shoved a Seminole assistant coach while falling out of bounds while diving for a loose ball.

Here’s another view of what happened:

But while everyone else was ready to vilify Allen for another unsportsmanlike play, the Florida State assistant coach who Grayson ran in to said that was not the case in the following tweet he posted this morning:

Fellow media members have been having a field day with Grayson deeming him college basketball’s newest “bad guy,”  which isn’t totally unwarranted.  The several tripping incidents are totally uncalled for and have no place in the sport, but that doesn’t give media members the right to create stories where there are none.   I’m glad coach Gates cleared things up, but Allen better not pull that sucker tripping stuff anymore.  It’s hurting his reputation, the reputation of Duke’s basketball program, Coach K, and his draft stock.
