Cam Newton is trying to change the game-day atmosphere in Charlotte again, but this time it’s off the field instead of on it. This Sunday, during Carolina’s home field opener against the 49ers, the Panthers quarterback will debut his new “Smokn’ Aces” food truck at the corner of Stonewall and S. Tryon street.
Menu items will include fish and chicken, and will be open Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. Proceeds from the first week of sales will go a local charity.
So I have to ask, is Newton’s food truck hot or not?
