This video of Cam Newton smoking in a Nashville club has caused quite the uproar – with people accusing the NFL MVP of smoking weed.
There are two very good reasons why I’m nearly positive Newton wasn’t smoking weed. First, I’ve seen Newton in clubs around Charlotte on several occasions and I have never as much seen him take a drink. He always seems to be very cautious of what he’s doing while in public.
The second, and probably most convincing, is that I know first hand that Newton enjoys an occasional cigar because my boyfriend and he frequent the same cigar lounge. Also, with the care that Newton has taken with not getting into trouble while he’s been in the league, why would the NFL MVP smoke weed in public while tons of cameras are on him. Let’s use common sense people.
Now, what we should be taking about is this outfit he wore….
