Duke Falls Out of AP Top 25 for First Time in Over 8 Years

For decades Duke has been one of the most dominate teams in college basketball, but now the Blue Devils find themselves in unfamiliar territory for the first time in 167 weeks – outside of college hoops’ top 25.

UNC remains #2 with a big match-up against #19 ranked Louisville Monday.  The other top 25 ACC teams are UVA at #9 and Miami at #17.

But don’t count Duke out.  With senior defensive leader Amile Jefferson eyeing a comeback, the Blue Devils will surely finish strong.
