Thomas Davis Has Surgery on Broken Arm; Expects to Play in Super Bowl (Photos)

Thomas Davis won’t let anything stop him from playing in Super Bowl 50 – including a broken arm.

Davis broke him arm in the first half of Sunday’s NFC Championship game and had surgery Monday morning to repair it.  Carolina coach Ron Rivera told reporters he expects TD will be available for February 7th’s game.

”My understanding is if everything goes well it is something he can mostly certainly play with – so we are excited about that possibility.”

Davis’ wife sent a encouraging tweet this morning just before he went into surgery.

Davis has been one of the toughest, most determined players on Carolina’s roster.  After overcoming 3 ACL tears to play at the level he has, Panthers fans shouldn’t worry about a broken arm hindering him.
