Jared Allen has been ruled out of Sunday’s NFC Championship game after sustaining a foot injury during the Panthers divisional round game against the Seahawks.

When asked how he felt about the decision, Allen said he was not happy about it and felt he absolutely could play.

“Not happy, plain and simple. I’m ready to rock,” Allen said. “Coach’s decision, gotta live with it.”
Jared doesn’t seem happy AT ALL. Hopefully, he doesn’t resent the coaching staff for ruling him out. It’s clear that at 33 and in the twilight of his career, he’s looking to get a Super Bowl ring and contribute to a team that plays for one.
Rivera said that if the Panthers defeat the Cardinals, Allen’s status would be reevaluated.
