SnapChat is a social media app where many feel like they can be more liberal with their posts than on Twitter and Facebook because they “disappear” in 24 hours and you can tell when someone has taken a screen shot, but it’s important to remember that nothing on the internet is safe. SnapChat can be recorded without a trace just like DM’s can be screen-shotted. Panthers’ rookie linebacker Shaq Thompson learned this lesson the hard way after this video of him saying “F*ck the Seahawks” was leaked.

When asked, Ron Rivera said he’d spoken to Thompson about the video.
“I sat down with Shaq,” Rivera said Wednesday. “I discussed it. It’s over. So we decided the best thing for all of us is to move forward and get ready for Arizona.”
I think every Panthers’ fan and player felt the same emotions as Shaq, but he has to remember that as a professional athlete everything he says and does will be amplified. Is it a HUGE deal? Does this make him a bad guy? Not at all. Just have to be more careful.
