Gamecocks Formally Introduce Will Muschamp as New Head Football Coach (Video)

It’s been a little under two months since the Gamecocks have been on the market for a new head coach after the mid-season retiring of Steve Spurrier, but South Carolina has finally hired their new man.  Former Florida head coach and current Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp has accepted the job.  The University held a formal press conference introducing him to the fans and media Monday morning.

Muschamp agreed to a five-year $16 million deal to lead the team.  He’s already named 34-year-old Miami native Travaris Robinson as defensive coordinator and 43-year-old Kurt Roper as offensive coordinator.
