Cam Newton’s touchdown dances have been drawing a lot of attention, most notably from a Tennessee mom who said Newton’s “pelvic thrusts” and “arrogant struts” marred her daughter’s first NFL game experience.
During Carolina’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Cowboys, Newton sent a message to that mom and all other haters of what have been referred to as his “ghetto” end zone celebrations.

Can’t really find much fault or “ghetto” in the 60’s classic twist with added snorkel, but I’m sure someone will find a reason to hate. Â Perfectly executed subtle shade by Cam.
Just in case you want to know who to thank for the new moves, it’s Newton’s grandmother Hattie.
Cam Newton: "Every now and then when I get my grandma up to dance, she likes to twist. Her name's Hattie, by the way. Hey Hattie."
