With the return of four of their five starters from last season’s Sweet 16 squad, everyone is picking UNC as their preseason favorite and the ACC media were no different. North Carolina was selected to finish first in the league’s preseason poll, with Virginia and Duke following behind them in second and third.
Other honors went to Marcus Paige and Malcolm Brodgon, who were voted ACC Preseason Co-Players of the Year and Duke’s Brandon Ingram, who was voted ACC Preseason Freshman of the Year.
