Panthers Ask NFL to Investigate Early Morning Fire Alarm at Team Hotel

The Carolina Panthers got an unwanted wake-up call at 5:30 game day morning when a false alarm forced players out of the comfort of their beds onto the cold Seattle streets. Some guys took to social media to complain about the disturbance and raise questions about why it only affected floors of the hotel that they were staying on.

According to their spokesman, Steve Drummond, the team has asked the league to investigate the incident.

“Obviously, this is an issue that directly affects our club,” team spokesman Steven Drummond said. “We will let the hotel and the league investigate.”

After their win, some players took shots at Seattle by referencing the false alarm and sarcastically thanked them for their hospitality.
