Gamecocks Considering Relocating Saturday’s Game Against LSU

Flooding has devastated many areas in South Carolina, including the State’s capitol Columbia, home of the South Carolina Gamecocks.  In the interest of safety, school officials are considering relocating Saturday’s game against LSU.  When discussing the game’s status, athletics director Ray Tanners says it’s the University’s wish to play at Williams Brice Stadium.

“Our intention is to have the game here in Columbia, but it’s not definite,” Tanner said to the media after Steve Spurrier’s weekly press conference on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

A final decision about where this weekend’s game will be played is expected Wednesday.
