Carolina continues to make moves along their defensive line in an effort to strengthen their pass rush. Today the Panthers announced that they have released defensive tackle Colin Cole and signed defensive end Ryan Delaire from the Redskins practice squad.

Now that Star Lotulelei has returned from injury, it was unlikely that the team would keep five tackles.
Cole tweeted about the release calling it part of the business.
It's all a part of the business folks… Stay tuned!

Delaire originally entered the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent out of Towson. After being waived by the Buccaneers on September 5, 2015, he was signed to the Washington Redskins’ practice squad.
