What You Need to Know About Tonight’s Soccer Games at BofA Stadium

Charlotte will host two international soccer games tonight as Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago compete for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup at Bank of America Stadium.  Here are the key things you need to know about attending the matches:

What time do the gates open?

Gates will open at 5 p.m.

Are you able to smoke at Bank of America Stadium?

Bank of America Stadium is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is prohibited inside all areas of the stadium including concourses, seating areas, and all suites and club areas. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, vapor cigarettes and electronic cigarettes.

Are noise makers permitted inside the stadium?

Noise makers, such as vuvuzelas, are a prohibited item inside Bank of America Stadium and will NOT be permitted.

Will the NFL Bag Policy be enforced?

No. However, all bags will be searched and those no larger than 8” x 10” x 14” will be permitted. Guests are encouraged to limit the amount of items they bring with them into the stadium.

Will there be other activities around the stadium for this event?

Yes. Located on South Mint Street just outside Bank of America Stadium, Futbol Fiesta is an interactive fan area with games, food, music and more. Futbol Fiesta will open at 4 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m.

Where can I purchase tickets to the games?

Tickets can be purchased here, by calling Ticketmaster or visiting the ticket office at Bank of America Stadium.

The games are set to kick-off at 6pm, when Cuba will face Guatemala.  Mexico will play Trinidad & Tobago after the completion of the first game, tentatively set for 8:30pm.
