Hornets Sign Aaron Harrison to 2-Year Contract

Talk about capitalizing on an opportunity.

After not hearing his named called in last month’s NBA draft, former Kentucky guard Aaron Harrison has found a permanent home with the Charlotte Hornets, after impressing the coaching staff during summer league play in Orlando.

Pretty sure this was done because head coach Steve Clifford didn’t want to risk losing Harrison to another team.  During summer league play, Aaron got a lot of time at point guard, a position he didn’t play in college, and seemed to manage the game well and even contribute offensively when needed.  If he’s going to continue to solidify his place in the league, he will have to hone those skills while keeping his versatility  – being able to play both the one and two positions on the court.

Side Note: This  move is one of the few I’ve liked by the Hornets this offseason.
