Trade rumors have swirled around Lance Stephenson since early into his first season as a Charlotte Hornet, and now weeks before the NBA draft the uncertainty continues, as a recent report says the team is in discussions with the Clippers to send the guard to LaLa Land.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hornets would trade Lance to the Clippers for forwards Spencer Hawes and Matt Barnes.
Charlotte continues to struggle to find the right talent to compliment Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson. Rich Cho has a history of putting together talented teams (see Oklahoma City Thunder), so even though I don’t see how this trade benefits the Hornets AT ALL, I’ll reserve judgement until after the draft.
On the flip side, I can see Stephenson and his antics thriving in LaLa under Doc Rivers and the lights of Tinsletown.
***Update***
After one disappointing season the Lance Stephenson era is officially over in Charlotte.
