Michael Jordan is the GOAT and he knows it. There are very few who can even be mentioned in the same sentence as him. He was one of the most competitive players the league has seen and even at the seasoned age of 52, he believes he can beat Hornets players nearly 30 years his junior.
L’Equipe: Do you think you can play against some of your guys right now? Do you sometimes do that or not? Could you win on one-on-ones against them?
Jordan: I’m pretty sure I can, so I don’t want to do that and demolish their confidence. So I stay away from them, I let them think they’re good…but I’m too old to do that anyway.
Jordan isn’t too far off. He’s already beaten Gerald Henderson one on one, so it’s probably wise that he not beat up on his own players.
