Hornets’ center Al Jefferson has decided to exercise his option to stay in Charlotte for the 2015-2016 season, therefore becoming a free agent next year.

This is not a surprise as Jefferson has said in the past he has “unfinished business” in the Queen City and will also enter the free agent market when the salary cap is expected to take a huge spike.
