UNC’s Kennedy Meeks Out for Wednesday’s Game

If UNC is going to make it to the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, they’ll have to do so without center Kennedy Meeks – who has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game due to an unspecified illness.  Meeks did not practice Tuesday and it is unknown whether he will make the trip to Greensboro with the team.

“Running a temperature, they got it down last night, but it was back up this morning,” Williams said. “They tested him for [mononucleosis], strep [throat], everything comes up negative. … He won’t play tomorrow; we’ll have to wait and see after that.”

Carolina will face the winner between Georgia Tech and Boston College.
