March Madness is right around the corner and after indefinitely suspending Greg Anthony for being arrested in a prostitution sting, CBS and Turner sports are looking for his replacement and according to reports, former UCLA Bruin and Indiana Pacer Reggie Miller is their leading candidate.
CBS is moving quickly to replace suspended analyst Greg Anthony on NCAA Tournament coverage this March, and the early leader may surprise you: Reggie Miller. Although it’s been less than a week since Anthony was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute, multiple sources at the network tell Inside Blitz that Miller already has strong backing from executives.
Although Reggie isn’t my favorite basketball commentator, CBS could do worse. If they’re looking for someone with experience who excelled in both college and the NBA, Miller is really one of the best choices.
Expect a formal announcement about Anthony’s replacement in the coming weeks.
