Thomas Davis Named Walter Payton Man of the Year Finalist

The Walter Payton Man of the Year finalists have been named and Carolina Panthers fans are very familiar with one on the list.

Linebacker Thomas Davis, whose very active with his Defending Dreams charity that focuses on improving the lives of underprivileged children, along with Anquan Boldin and Aaron Rodgers were announced as the league’s three “Man of the Year” finalists yesterday.  The award recognizes one deserving player for his contribution to the community as well as on the field.  The winner will receive a $50,000 donation to the charity of their choice.

The winner will be announced during the NFL Honors awards during Super Bowl weekend.
