After largely struggling this season and reportedly not meshing well with teammates, it didn’t take long for the trade rumors surrounding the Hornets’ biggest off-season acquisition, Lance Stephenson, to swirl.
As always, where there’s smoke, there’s fire and the according to sources, the Hornets are negotiating a 3-way trade that would send Stephenson to Brooklyn.

In return for Stephenson, Charlotte would get Jarrett Jack from Brooklyn and Jeremy Lamb from the Thunder. Brook Lopez would also be sent to Oklahoma City in the proposed trade.
I can’t see Mr. “Born Ready” doing too much complaining about playing for his hometown team, but I’m not sure what Jack and Lamb will bring to a Hornets team that looks to finally win in the post season. It seems like everyone in this potential trade would improve except the Hornets. We’ll see how this all plays out.
