After largely struggling this season and reportedly not meshing well with teammates, it didn’t take long for the trade rumors surrounding the Hornets’ biggest off-season acquisition, Lance Stephenson, to swirl.
As always, where there’s smoke, there’s fire and the according to sources, the Hornets are negotiating a 3-way trade that would send Stephenson to Brooklyn.

In return for Stephenson, Charlotte would get Jarrett Jack from Brooklyn and Jeremy Lamb from the Thunder. Â Brook Lopez would also be sent to Oklahoma City in the proposed trade.
I can’t see Mr. “Born Ready” doing too much complaining about playing for his hometown team, but I’m not sure what Jack and Lamb will bring to a Hornets team that looks to finally win in the post season. Â It seems like everyone in this potential trade would improve except the Hornets. Â We’ll see how this all plays out.
