After practice today, Cam Newton addressed the media for the first time since his serious car accident, where he continued to express a feeling of gratitude to the “man upstairs” for sparing his life.

As far as when he’s coming back? Â Newton says that’s the last thing on his mind.

In addition to thanking his fans for their support, Newton wrote a heartfelt message of forgiveness and love on his Instagram last night. Â A timetable for his return has not been released, although is expected that he will play against the Browns next week.
