Since being placed on the league’s exempt list Panthers’ defensive end Greg Hardy has steered clear from Bank of America Stadium, but according to ESPN he decided to stop by the stadium to see “a few guys” last Saturday.
Ron Rivera got a chance to chat with him and he says looks in shape.
“He looks good,’’ Rivera said. “Looks like he’s fit and in shape. I had a chance to say hello, talk a little bit. Between he and I, it was a nice conversation. He’s trying to keep himself busy and he’s just waiting to find out what his situation and circumstances are going to be.’’
This has been Hardy’s first visit to the facility since September 17th. He is expected to remain on the exempt list until the conclusion of his domestic abuse trial.
