After suffering their 6 straight loss, which nearly shattered any post season hopes, the Panthers made more roster moves today by cutting veterans Antoine Cason and Jason Williams.

This move shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Panthers have been trying to send messages all season by cutting vets, but with a 3-8-1 record I’m not sure how much it’s working. Maybe they need to look beyond the 53-man roster when they’re making changes.
