With the return of their name and the addition of Lance Stephenson, the Charlotte Hornets entered this season looking to improve upon last season’s playoff sweep, but right now a post season doesn’t even look like a possibility. After the team only scored 28 points in the first half of tonight’s 105-75 loss to the Hawks, making the squad’s horrendous 4-14 start even worse, Stephenson perfectly summed up the season so far with a very simple, yet powerful, Instagram post.
The good news: it only takes a string of a few wins to turn around a season. The bad news: this team doesn’t even look good enough to do that right now.
