Most guys would want to keep the ball from their first touchdown as a sign of achievement, a badge of honor, a memento that marks an achievement few will be able to experience.
Inadvertently, Cam Newton gave away the football from Fozzy Whittaker’s first NFL touchdown to a Carolina fan in the stands. That fan later tweeted Whittaker offering to return it and his reaction may surprise you.

That’s very admirable of the fan, but if that was my first NFL touchdown I’d want the ball to show to my children and grandchildren in the future. I’d take the fan up on his offer, take him to dinner and give him game tickets for returning it.
